Introducing the innovation of “Social Kiwi”

CHICAGO: IDM Brand will again sponsor and participate in the KIN Global 2017 summit, themed Foresight: Where will we go? to be held Evanston, IL May 31- June 2. The invite-only event is designed to help individuals and organizations thrive in a world of rapid change; innovative thought-leaders from six continents – each with deep experience in business, government, the non-profit sector, the arts, academia, and defense — will engage in collaborative research. Among topics for discussion: What is foresight? How do leading organizations – and startup disruptors – turn data into foresight? How does foresight translate into competitively relevant action? What foresights can we share about the future? How can you share your mission and change our world?

What will IDM Brand do at KIN Global 2017? Comments Alannah Sandehl, Chief Innovation Officer at IDM, “Last year our goal was to inspire KIN attendees to become brand ambassadors and story-tellers by using innovative tools to bring a large crowd of people together to be active participants on social media platforms … the goal is always to create serendipity! We’re happy to report analytics show our work resulted in triple-digit increase in messaging and responses last year. For 2017, IDM is implementing the innovation of Social Kiwi – our new social media visual aggregation tool – on the KIN Global website and at the summit to encourage sharing, connection and conversations … we will utilize Twitter, Facebook and some select sessions on Periscope to create an online social hub.”

Alannah Sandehl has a personal connection to KIN, The Kellogg Innovation Network which is a platform for ongoing collaboration between Northwestern Faculty, corporate innovation leaders, and government officials: “My partner, Olga Weiss, and I are always exploring innovative ways to diversify our business and impact the marketplace. After a year in development, the fruit of our love – Social Kiwi – is ready. As a Kellogg Management Institute alumna, I am beyond excited to launch our social media aggregator tool at KIN – the feeling is priceless. Cheers to innovation!”
