Success at KBIS 2017
This year, our team was inspired by color at KBIS, the premier annual event dedicated to the kitchen and bath industry, held in Orlando, Florida. We were honored to join our client, Caesarstone, in their expansive booth that celebrated color and brought a cozy home element to the tradeshow.
To activate social media and generate booth buzz, our team created a custom Caesarstone coloring book for all ages promoting multiple designer partners and showcasing numerous Caesarstone products. While we admit, we’re not experts at coloring in the lines, the coloring book was a success both in the booth as well as the social sphere.
Each day an artist was randomly selected, winning an American Express gift card and claiming the title of Ultimate KBIS Artist.
By the end of KBIS, over 150 attendees submitted photos of their masterpieces for a chance to win the daily prize and over 500 copies of the book were carried off by visitors, allowing them to engage even after the event ended.
In addition to a successful social media contest at the event, the IDM team also partnered with our favorite food bloggers, Wanna Bite, to showcase a delicious breakfast, entertain, and generate more foot traffic to the booth. With the smell of bacon drifting through the air, event attendees came far and wide for a peek at the action and a taste of their bacon-infused pancakes. The video was shared on Facebook Live and garnered over 35,000 views.
Through social media postings and promotions, IDM’s efforts got over 4.49M impressions around KBIS and over 11k engagements on our social media KBIS-specific posts.
Interior design is one of IDM’s top passions and we were thrilled to accompany our client and help them succeed at the biggest kitchen and bath show in North America.
